Update Notes: 26-Jan-2000

In the 7 months since I first wrote this article, Elcom has sent me notifications of program updates (free!) literally every month. As AO97PR is now up to version 1.21, I decided to re-run the benchmarks, this time on two different computers. Using a Word 97 file with the 4 character password "Zinc", and a brute force method, AO97PR managed to obtain the password with results as follows:

The results show a 35% speed improvement going from v1.02 to v1.21, and a similar 35% improvement as a result of upgrading from a Pentium II-266 to a Celeron-433. A laudable improvement.
